Maple class really enjoyed doing some maypole dancing in the sun. They listened so carefully and made some beautiful patterns with the ribbons.

Cherry class have had a fantastic week. We have enjoyed grouping and sorting in maths, manipulating play dough in art and we have especially enjoyed our maypole day today! 

Year 1 have really enjoyed this term's gymnastic unit. They have been learning about different styles of jumping. Today they demonstrated how to hold the shape: star, tuck and pencil on the large apparatus.

Maple class have been learning lots of new techniques to help sculpture their clay. Today they have produced their own clay tile. They really enjoyed creating it.

Cherry class have had lots of fun today recreating The Great Fire of London through role play. We selected which "character" we wanted to play and shared with the class the events that took place. We played: the mayor, the baker, a civilian and Samuel Pepys.
