Blossom Room

Welcome to Blossom Room's information page. We have been busy settling into our new sensory and visual environment.

This year in Blossom Room we have Mrs Freeman, Miss Gray, Mrs Hill and Mrs Munns.

The children in Blossom room follow their own curriculum, which has been devised as part of our whole school Continuous Play Provision within the school.

Autumn Term Learning

This term in Blossom room the children will be learning to settle into their new Sensory and visual environment. Our learning this term is around familiar traditional tales such as 'The Three Little Pigs' and Goldilocks and the three bears. We will be focussing on our 'big emotions' and practicing lots of different ways to help us to regulate. We will be labelling body parts and engaging in a lot of fine motor tasks. In maths we will be naming shapes and focussing on numbers to 10.

September 2026

Blossom room children have explored their feelings to communicate what makes them feel good and recognising zones of regulation. Alongside this, the children have also enjoyed using a range of resources to enhance their fine motor skills.
